After our cold day walking around in the big city, I was glad we got into the car. I was exhausted and fell asleep. Do you know the releaving feeling of being asleep and suddenly the car comes to a standstill and the engine is turned off. Well that should be what you feel when you arrive home. It's not normal if you're 30 minutes away from your house with your bed calling you. And it normally doesn't come with a peeping sound.
So I woke up, all dark outside. We live in a city so normally I should have to see shimmering lights. The car stood uphill. Our driver was silent. With a trembling voice he turned his head to us ( we were sitting in the back) and with a smile he said: " I know it's awkward... but we run out of diesel..."
"We did what?" We started laughing but we needed to take action. Two of the boys jumped out and started to push the car to turn him 180° so we could roll down the road. The car started again.

Maybe we could find a filling station, but where? Was there a filling station in the last village we just drove through. My phone was dead, my husband his had only 1% left. No, there was no filling station in the last village but there was one 9 km  the other way. The driver turned the car. Our fingers were crossed and I prayed a prayer we would come in time before the car stopped. Only 4 km left and there it was. The engine stopped and with it the car. We were almost midnight. The first cars passed our way without even slowing down. The later it got, the more cars stopped and people tried to help us. The driver called his brother to ask him if he'd like to drive to a filling station and come with the diesel to us so we could fill the car. Instead of replying, he started laughing, even we could hear it. His brother was on his way to us but then a car stopped. The young man had an extra small fuel tank in his car. He proposed that one of us could drive with him to the filling station and fill the small tank. Our driver jumped in the car and after 10 minutes he came back with the small fuel tank.
I was glad when I was back home!

I decided to share an easy recipe with you - not with pomato but tomatoes and potatoes.

It's almost been a month since I posted my last post "Time for another Juice". I should be ashamed of myself but I can't help it. Two options: Or I have been really busy or I just have a lack of inspiration... I can't choose. It's both. I started cleaning once a week. I clean at our church and I want to do it precisely. I think my mother and mother-in-law suffer the same illness, if you can call it that way.

My husband thought the pump was broken. That meant we’d have to buy another pump and we’d have to wait for it so I’d have to wash my clothes at other places. You can live without a dryer and without a dishwasher but not without a washing machine. It’s a total disaster even if you’re only two. 
My husband decided not to give up. He wanted to take a look at the washing machine today. So he did. He took out the pump. I wasn’t convinced if it would make any difference or not but why not give it a try. He found a small leather strap from his sweater twisted in the pump. I was so glad he found the cause of this trouble I just gave him a kiss. I’d never think I would be so glad about a washing machine.
